Budget-friendly Asus TUF Dash F15 gaming laptop with an RTX 3050 and Intel Core i5-11400H now on sale for US$599

Although this affordable 15-inch gaming laptop does not sport the most exciting or powerful components in comparison to some fancier but also much more expensive machines, the Asus TUF Dash F15 may still be a sensible choice for budget-minded gamers who are content with gaming at 1080p and reasonable settings and frame rates. Cheap gaming laptops with a GeForce RTX 3050 are a popular choice among budget-conscious gamers, as Nvidia's most affordable mobile graphics card with RT cores has a quite intriguing price-to-performance ratio. This is definitely the case if a corresponding 15-inch machine can be found on sale for a discounted price, which is now the case with the Asus TUF Dash F15 at Best Buy. The large US retailer currently sells the aforementioned Asus TUF Dash F15 gaming laptop with the adequately performing Intel Core i5-11400H hexa-core processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 dGPU with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM for just US$599 including free shipping or store pickup in many locations around the country. The official list price of this budget-friendly notebook comes in at US$799, which means that this deal offers US$200 or about 33% in savings. Please note that this configuration comes with a rather paltry 8GB of DDR4 RAM, but the memory can be easily upgraded with a compatible SO-DIMM module which can be ordered from US$28 on Amazon. We've throughly tested a slightly different version of this 15-inch gaming laptop last year, and we particularly liked the fact that the Asus TUF Dash F15 comes with a Thunderbolt 4 port and stays very quiet under low load. The IPS display also features a pretty quick refresh rate of 144 Hz, which makes it perfect for fast-paced action games and shooters like the upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. However, as with many comparable notebooks in this price range, the screen is pretty dim and the chassis is not the sleekest we've seen due to the fairly large bottom bezel. Nevertheless, this deal might still be a decent choice for many budget-focused buyers who can't or simply don't want to spend more than US$600 on a new gaming laptop with an RTX 3050.
