This particular monitor is part of Xiaomi's wide range of gaming monitors offered in its home market. What sets the Redmi Display G Pro 27 apart from other options, such as the Curved Gaming Monitor G34WQi is its utilization of 1,152 Mini LED local dimming zones. This feature enables the monitor to achieve a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and obtain VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification.
It appears that Xiaomi plans to launch the Redmi Display G Pro 27 in international markets. Nevertheless, the company will eliminate the 'Redmi' branding, following the pattern of previous global releases of gaming monitors. On its global website, Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Display G Pro 27 as the 'Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27i'. Essentially, both monitors are identical, as indicated by the global product model name P27QBA-RGPGL for the latter.
The Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27i is certified by VESA DisplayHDR 1000 and can reach a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, similar to the Redmi Display G Pro 27. It features a native resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels on its 27-inch IPS panel, along with a refresh rate of 180 Hz. In addition, it boasts 1 ms GtG response times and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space. The monitor is equipped with two DisplayPort and HDMI ports each. While the pricing and availability are currently unknown.
